| Georgia Computer Workshop is able to ship nearly all built to order computer systems within 3-5 business days, and it is the purpose of this page to provide you with the details of our delivery schedule so you are as informed as possible. |
| Our Schedule
There are three phases to every build -- parts acquisition, computer assembly, and testing. The longest of these is the parts acquisition. While we are stocking more and more parts as we grow, there are almost always a few parts we need to order in to complete any build. We order our parts from California, and they take two days to arrive. Any order received before midnight will have its parts ordered the following day. Once all the parts arrive, we only need one day for assembly, and one day for testing.
Once the computer leaves our door, the amount of time it takes to get to you depends solely on the shipping method you choose when you place your order. UPS transit times are rarely missed, but are guaranteed by UPS and you may pursue a refund with UPS if your shipment is late. All shipments are fully insured, and in the rare event of shipping damages, the damages can be paid for by filing a claim with UPS. We will be happy to aid you in this process with UPS, but is not directly responsible for any shipping damages or complications.

| Possible Delays
There are two main things that can delay our delivery time -- billing problems and backordered parts. Our order process begins when the billing process is complete, so even if you get your order in before midnight, a problem with your credit card may delay your order beyond that deadline. Since over one third of the credit cards we receive have problems (usually minor problems -- address mismatches, or security flags due to the high value of our transactions), we strongly recommend you do not wait until the last minute to place your order. A supply problem with backordered parts may also cause a delay to your order. Getting your build to order computer to you on time is a high priority to us. In some cases, we will even give you a free upgrade rather than let your order be delayed. If we anticipate a problem, we will inform you when you place your order, but some problems are unforeseen and can cause delays that we do not expect.

All timelines shown on our website are counted in business days. Weekends and holidays are not counted on any timeline.

Disclaimer
Our stated delivery times are shown only as a guide to help you know what to expect. Though over 95% of our deliveries make these deadlines, we do not guarantee it and do not issue refunds or discounts if your order is delayed. Even if you pay for an expensive shipping option, this does not give you a right to a shipping refund if your order is delayed. Rest assured, we do strive to make our delivery deadlines 100% of the time and are always improving in this area as we know this is extremely important to you! You may change your shipping option up until the day your order is shipped. |
| Order Tracking
When you place your order, we will send you a confirmation email. When your computer ships, we email you a tracking number so you can see exactly where your package is.
